In Troy, the light pollution is so bad, that only the ten brightest stars shine in the sky. Coincidently, four of them make up the big dipper.
Three of the stars that make up the ladle could be seen, as well as the first star that makes up the handle. It almost looks like a straight line, with one star being directly perpendicular to the middle star.
With a little imagination, it looks like a pair of breifs. Therefore, I so humble call this Troy constellation UNCLE SAM'S UNDERWEAR. |
